Delete your account

From the app

Settings → Account → Delete my account. You'll be asked to confirm, then everything is erased on the spot. It's the fastest route, and the only one that requires no extra verification.

Without access to the app

Lost your phone, changed numbers, deleted the app? Write to contact@boast-app.com from the email address linked to your account, or mention the mobile number you signed up with.

We check that it's really you before erasing anything — that's what stops someone else from having your account deleted. Allow 30 days at most, and in practice far less.

What gets erased

• •Your account — name, mobile number, email, date of birth, profile photo, city
• •Your activities — matches and training sessions you took part in, along with their photos and files
• •Your connections — circle connections, invitations, blocks, imported contacts
• •Your notifications — your inbox, your notification preferences and the devices registered for notifications

One consequence to know before you tap. An activity belongs to everyone who played it: deleting it also removes it from your opponents' profiles, and their stats lose it too. That's the price of a clean erase, and we own it.

What we keep

• •Clubs you created — they're useful to other players, so they stay — but anonymised, with nothing left linking them to you
• •Reports — kept anonymised, as a moderation record: without them, reported content could be reposted with no history

A question before you decide

Write to us at contact@boast-app.com. If it's one notification too many, you can adjust them one by one in Settings → Notifications — no need to delete your account to get some peace.
